Offshore Vessel Rep. - SF15874
Description:

A major international oil and gas operating company has requested CCL (cclglobal.com) to provide an Offshore Vessel Company Representative to work on a gas export pipeline project - offshore Angola. Will act as Company Representative relating to vessel workscope: pipe reel lay, deepwater construction (installation of 3 subsea manifolds), dewatering, commissioning and execution. Rotational basis. Approx. 8 month contract. Able to travel / work offshore as required. Excellent rates and TandCs.

Engineering degree / equivalent. Current Offshore Survival and Medical Certificates. Computer literate. Effective organisational skills with strong communication skills including fluent written and spoken English.

Must have experience working as a vessel representative. Duties include: ensuring operations comply with HSSE expectations; taking positive role in HSSE leadership - SOC, BOSS, HIRA, TBT participation. Ensuring all offshore operations are conducted in compliance with approved procedures and project technical specifications and quality requirements. Also that EPCIC contract requirements are fulfilled by Contractor. Act as primary contact / route for communications between installation vessel, project management and FPSO. Liaise concerning SIMOPs relating to installation activities. Take charge of permit to work system as required. Approve daily progress report / attend daily SIMOPs conference call. Witness critical offshore installation activities. Monitor / assist contractor with completion of GOC certification. Document any vessel stand by time. Ensure that scheduling issues are emphasised to EPCIC Construction Manager. Liaise with appointed Marine Warranty Surveyor.
